Vietnamese Government just issued Decree No.47/2017/NĐ-CP on 24 April 2017 stipulating the common minimum salary rate with effect from 01 July 2017.
Pursuant to the Decree, the common minimum salary shall increase to VND 1,300,000/ month from 01 July 2017.
In accordance with that, the maximum base salary for social and health insurance as well as trade union contribution (which is equal to 20 times of common minimum salary) shall increase from VND 24,200,000/month to VND 26,000,000/ month from July 2017.
