On 01 July 2021, the Government issues Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP on a number of policies to support the Employee and the Employer facing difficulties caused by Covid-19 pandemic.
According to this Resolution, the employer’s labor accident and occupational disease (“LA & OD”) insurance contribution rate regarding the Employee subject to LA & OD insurance is 0% for 12 months with effect from 01 July 2021. The Employee regulated here does not include employee, officer, official, people serving in the Army, people working at Party and State’s units and offices receiving salary from the State Budget.
The Employer shall give the money saved from the above insurance reduction to the Employee to support them against COVID-19 pandemic.
Thus, from 01 July 2021 to 30 June 2022, the compulsory insurance contribution rates of Employee and Employer are specifically as below:
