The retirement age of employees under normal conditions is adjusted according to the roadmap, each year increasing by 3 months for male employees and 4 months for female employees.
From 2021, the retirement age for employees under normal working conditions is 60 years and 3 months for male employees and 55 years and 4 months for female employees. After that, each year increases by 3 months for male workers and 4 months for female workers.

2.2 Lowest retirement age from 2024 (applicable to certain cases)
Employees in the following cases may retire at an age lower than, but not more than 5 years older than, the retirement age under normal working conditions stated in point (i) at the time of retirement, except in legal cases. The law has other provisions:
2.2.1 Employees in Hazardous Occupations:
Workers engaged in occupations or jobs that are classified as heavy, toxic, dangerous, or particularly heavy, toxic, or dangerous as per the list provided by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs and have accumulated at least 15 years of service in such roles.
2.2.2 Employees in Economically Challenging Regions:

2.2.3 Significant Reduction in Working Capacity:
Employees with a working capacity reduction of 61% or more.
2.2.4 Combined Criteria:
Employees who have both extensive experience in hazardous occupations or jobs (as per the Ministry's list) and prolonged service in regions with extremely challenging socio-economic conditions, including working in areas with regional allowance coefficients of 0.7 or more before January 1, 2021, for at least 15 years.
Furthermore, employees may choose to continue working beyond the standard retirement age when an agreement is reached with their employer.
