Skills required
Bachelor’s degree or above, education in Water Supply & Drainage, Process or environmental engineering.
Significant experience (>15 years) working experience in water sector preferably in Municipal services (PFI, PPP, O&M) or investment (BOT) projects.
Long experience in proposals making and project execution.
Has an established network with clients in the country.
Good knowledge of regulation (PPP, PFI and others), contract structure and contractual risks, and financing scheme.
Good knowledge of the public utilities’ codes and standards.
Have entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent relationship with clients, partners, and stakeholders in public sector.
Be Japanese w/ Japanese as mother language.
Business level English (to communicate with and report to international team).
Excellent communication and networking abilities, has excellent analytical and presentation skills, self-confident and results oriented good communication skills.
Strong communication abilities strong social and interpersonal skills, capable to earn trust.
Good negotiation skills.
Be willing to accept frequent travel.
A team player and willing to learn, autonomous and able to work under pressure.
Bilingual (English / Japanese) is a must.

What you will do
Understand the problematic / technical needs of the client and support sales and technical department in Asia and Paris to develop the ideal solution for the client.
Manage the technical aspects of projects in Japan from the initial phase of business development until the tender
Create the link between the commercial/sales team and the Proposal Production Team in order to deliver an offer in line with the needs of the client and the local practices
Collect market intelligence i.e., project plans, key contacts, competition program, and industrial policies and trends.
Promote solutions (Technical and non-technical) by visiting Customers and Consultants, participating exhibition and seminar, to get customers’ needs and expectations
He/ She is client oriented and is continuously in touch with clients, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders on all projects in the country
Support the Proposal team during the proposal stage and up to the signature of the contract.
Work closely with sales team and marketing functions, especially to build the lead generation list
Develop/Lead the Municipal and Industrial services (PFI, PPP, O&M/BOT) projects in Japan during the initial phase of business development
