Job overview
• Planning manager performs various duties and responsibilities for the company. These include planning and monitoring a project or department's budget, production schedule, and inventory, creating reports of new plans, programs, and regulations, and ensuring development proposals comply with requirements and regulations.
Key Job Duties
• Coordination among the company management and departments to establish and achieve company strategic objective for short term and long term.
• Develop the company’s business plan for 5 years and 3 years, yearly and quarterly.
• Coordinate and support the project's commercial aspects and well monitors ensuring production schedule and efficiency to a maximum.
• Support to set up the company strategy from commercial, financial and technical aspect and based on that, lead to make sophisticated presentation material it to the sponsors and the lenders.
• Collaborate with site management team to well understand and consolidate site plans, support any special-use permits, forecast all required strategies ensuring operation efficiency.
• Understand the company financial status, coordinate with relevant departments to ensure 100% business continuity and supply risks well-managed throughout the whole supplier lifecycle.
• Overview and well monitor any billing matters, utilize resources for billing efficiency.
• Be main contact in liaising, reporting or communication with sponsors, government entities (especially EVN), and any relevant external parties for planning activity metrics, supporting project matters or to perform various strategies and analyze all results to recommend required improvements in company or departments’ performance.
• Recommend appropriate business requirements policy.
• Maintain optimal level of performance within required budget and ensure compliance to all required standards.
• Effectively integrate internal and external resources, improve planning team organization and the competitive advantage.
• Manages all general planning issues for a department or project.
• Be accountable for monthly billing and settlement, coordination with Operations, assist with Coal Supply, Coal Transportation Agreements and generating reports.
• Be responsible for the monthly plant billing/settlement (revenue) process with the Power Purchase Agreement and assisting Coal Logistics with CSA/CTA.
• Submit reports and memorandums to EVN.
• Collaborate with entities during dispute resolution.
• Support and assist Coal Logistics with the coal supplier and transporter invoicing/demurrage as needed.
• Closely coordinate with coal logistic team, coal handling team and EVN to build up good annual plan for coal importing quantity and schedule to ensure the coal stock is enough for operation and provision, avoid over imported.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis as required.
