• Bachelor’s degree preferred; marketing, business, journalism or related coursework beneficial Demonstrated ability to think, express and write clearly;

• Agriculture, meat or related industry background helpful;

• Fluent in English speaking, proficiency in English written communications, correct grammar usage, spelling and punctuation required;

• Ability to work remotely and independently;

• Attention to detail imperative;

• Interest and/or experience working with diverse international markets and cultures;

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills; commitment to a team approach;

• Ability to interpret research and evaluation findings;

• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite tools with specific emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel, email and internet;

• Ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks with flexibility.

What you will do

Scope of Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the contracted Marketing Executive mainly relate to initiate, execute and support of company marketing program planning and development in Vietnam. These responsibilities include a) development of company's strategic marketing plan, which includes accurate objectives, opportunities/constraints and annual performance measures; b) create and assemble presentations to support funding proposals; c) plan, execute and support for company's Branded Program; and d) provides market intelligence service which includes preparing presentations, market intelligence reports, trade conditions, promotion activity reports. In carrying out these responsibilities, the Marketing Executive will work closely with company's Taiwan/SE Asia office and other offices of company's staff in Calgary and international offices.

Specific Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, support promotional programs for/with Canadian beef customers. eg. Consumer promotions, retail/food service sales campaign, trade shows, seminars, in-coming/out-going missions;

• Work with the Director in Taiwan/SE Asia to ensure opportunities are accurately described and review strategic performance measures for Vietnam markets;

• Work with the director in Taiwan/SE Asia in evaluating company's marketing strategy in Vietnam market, including monthly review of activity and budget plan;

• Prepare reports of Vietnamese market overviews (market intelligence reports, trade condition, retail and food service conditions, promotional activity report);

• Create and assemble presentations to support funding project proposals;

• Plan, execute and provide support to Director Taiwan/SE Asia on special development projects;

• Maintain relationship with market importers/buyers/retailer/F&B/distributors on behalf of company;

• Develop new customer and business opportunity for company's business (new importers/buyers/retailers/F&B);

• Respond to information requests related to company's programs or general market conditions in Vietnam market;

• Assist and review the production of presentation materials and reports;

• Provide other tasks and service requested by company's headquarter and company'sTaiwan/SE Asia office;

• Travel may be required;

• Assume other duties as requested.
