Report to: Key Account Manager – South East Asia.
Position Purpose:
• Execute sales and marketing plans for the local container trading business development.
• Grow profitable revenue on existing and prospective customers.
• Coordinate and deliver the effective sales force.
• Improve customers’ satisfaction consistently with our products and services.
General Areas of Responsibilities:
• Assist Key Account Manager to meet TDG business plans as approved by the Board of Directors.
• Support the sales & marketing strategies execution to achieve maximum market penetration, profit, and with pricing consistent with short and long term company objectives.
• Develop local key account networks and services
• Perform marketing and operational supports on all container trading activities.
Specific Areas of Responsibilities:
• Develop and explore container trading market nationally.
• Explore local market by meeting and visiting various potential customers to drive and secure new sales leads / opportunities.
• Collect the first hand market intelligent as well as any local regulations changed and update Key Account Manager timely.
• Plan, co-ordinate, and recommend to Key Account Manager on various sales strategies to achieve maximum market penetration & pricing consistent with short & long-term objectives.
• Develop and recommend specific sales and marketing objectives and forecasts for products to be sold.
• Develop and recommend pricing strategy based on evaluation of economic conditions and competition.
• Execute authorised sales and marketing plans to achieve or exceed profit, volume and other objectives relating to container trading nationally.
• Maintain favourable relations with all customers and explore local business networks.
• Negotiate and coordinate with internal and external services providers to maximise sale profit and efficiency.
• Evaluate customer requests for specification modification or improvement, discuss and recommend action to Key Account Manager.
• Assist Key Account Manager to resolve any local market concerns and operational issues.
• Assist Key Account Manager to review complaints received from customers for the purpose of defining the actual problem, resolving the complaint, and determining where emphasis should be placed to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare various weekly and monthly sales & marketing reports and follow up activities of ad hoc projects to management assigned by Key Account Manager.
• Ensure compliance with local applicable laws and regulations and quality standards of our services.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure account receivable collection to avoid aging.
• Any other duties, activities and projects assigned by Key Account Manager.
