EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering; Master’s degree is desired. Management specialization is valued.

• Minimum 05-year experience in Contract supervision and management or equivalent similar sector/role.

• Strong knowledge of relevant applicable laws and solid experience in negotiations and discussions of contracts/commercial matters.

• Being an active person with strong business networks development and excellent commercial skills.

• Proficiency in business English, both oral and written.

• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

• Available to work overtime and/or weekends if required.

What you will do

POSITION SUMMARY

The Contract Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing all company commercial contracts and network relationships with external parties. The company commercial contracts include but are not limited to the power purchase agreement, EPC contract, fuel supply agreement, insurance policy, O&M agreement, and other Vietnam Project Documents.

In this position, he/she fosters a team spirit by coordinating Contract & Procurement Department activities with other departments and assists in other areas as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Managing the company’s obligations and compliance under the PPA. Ensuring monthly company invoices to the off taker are accurate. Monitoring operational data required for invoice issuing.

• Being the key contact person coordinating and leading the discussions with external parties in relation to contract disputes. Taking a pro-active approach to managing primary contracts including the PPA, BOTC, EPC Contract, fuel agreement, O&M contract, etc. including the identification of profit-enhancing strategies. Working with the Operations and Maintenance sections to optimize the commercial performance of the plant. Properly involving/reporting to the relevant management or personnel whenever necessary and assisting with the negotiations.

• Settling commercial issues of the plant in company's area.

• Performing other comparable and related duties as assigned.
