Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a related field;
  • Postgraduate degree in sales, business finance or similar is also acceptable;
  • A good knowledge base of the country/region, and a willingness to learn;
  • Good people-management skills;
  • Sensitivity to different cultural norms;
  • At least 5 years of experience in management and distributions.

Mô tả công việc

The Country Manager is responsible for:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations from sales, marketing and all operations (functional);
  • Developing and implementing plans and strategies to grow the business and expand into new markets/ sectors;
  • Writing quarterly/ annual reports and liaising with the head office (management);
  • Recruiting, guiding, grooming, and training new/ existing employees;
  • Monitoring & tracking of performance at all levels and scheduling training/ brainstorming/ drafting of plans when necessary;
  • Implementing effective strategy consistently, and setting up recovery plan when required;
  • Setting clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and their business, and monitor and report on their progress and results regularly;
  • Establishing professional relationships with clients and staff. Communicating effectively with different stakeholders, such as customers, partners, employees, and vendors;
  • Being a well-disciplined leader to lead the team by example;
  • Overseeing Profit and Loss of the operations;
  • Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.
