OVERVIEW
• Provide on the ground support for DFC supply chain development in Vietnam.
• Focus on supplier prospecting, initial supplier assessments, and project management of sourcing initiatives.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILTY
Connect and maintain relationships with potential and existing DFC suppliers in VN
• Pay regular visit or meet target suppliers to understand/ define the status, current problems, and future plan, etc.
Prospecting new suppliers in VN and pre-assess the capability
• Collect potential supplier market intelligence and reporting.
• On-site visit to potential suppliers, provide report of the supplier capabilities and biz opportunity.
• Do cost and quotation analysis when required.
Primary lead for project management and progress report at all stages
• Provide the update report throughout the whole process, including supplier on-boarding/development/improvement.
• Execute related activities and solve the problems when needed.
Work with ASCM and US team, provide on the ground supports
• Coordinate with ASCM/ DUS project team on the project execution/progress tracking/problem solving when required.
