Skills required


  • Vietnamese, hold a University Degree from Engineering, mastering the principles of metallurgy, mechanical, and metal chemistry with minimum 7 years experiences in QA or QC function, 3 + years in QA/ QC Management.

Experience & Skills

  • Experienced in automotive or related industries is preferable.

  • Good knowledge in problem solving method and statistical technique.

  • Have the experience and practice of the project management.

  • Good people management and development skills.

  • Good communication skill, adaptability with different environments, focus on the needs and satisfaction of the customers.

  • Good team spirit and initiative, is a strong team player, also when working with others outside own unit.

  • Excellent speaking and writing ability of English supported with good MS. Office.

To solve production-related quality problem and actively contribute to quality assurance, develop and implementation of quality management system and quality system.

- Prepares X+1 plan:

  • Defines the KPI's for Quality Dept and ensures the deployment down to the work floor.

  • Identification of the right KPI's taking into account the challenges/needs of the business and assessment results.

  • Smooth deployment with quarterly progress reports.

  • Achievement of targets and improvement of Quality performance.

  • Performance indicators: X+1 plan exist and implemented.

- Quality development:

  • Develops quality control/quality assurance systems/procedures and monitors implementation.

  • Ensures good process ability is always maintained through technical parameters monitoring and implementations in the production as well as in the lab.

  • To ensure that proper quality checks are taken to prevent delivery of poor quality products.

  • Promoting the awareness of customer requirements.

  • Maintain certification quality management system (ISO 9001, ISO TS/ IATF 16949, JIS).

  • Performance indicators: Quality are well managed and improved continuously.

- Quality issues:

  • Monitors on process and product quality levels and reject and scrap levels and formulates proposals for quality improvement, monitors implementation of quality principles.

  • Conducts ad hoc analyses of complaints and formulates proposals for improvement.

  • Performance indicators: Decrease quality complaint.

- Manage customers specification and properties:

  • To update customers database regarding orders, forecast, contacts and complaints towards company's product.

  • Participates to customer visits and responds to customer questions in consultation with commercial departments.

  • Coordinates with BTC & KLP Plant in product development to have better products in the dimension of Business, Process ability, and Quality.

  • Performance indicators: Customers special requirements are documented and traceable.

- Ensure sufficient information flow within the plant in related quality protection documents:

  • IP Protection in the Plant through document control, access control and visitor procedure to limit exposure up to as needed basis.

  • Optimize resources information from the Group or other Plants in sharing information or problem solving.

  • Performance indicators: Related documents are exist and documented.

- People management:

  • Ensures the right qualified people is in place in line with current and future expansion needs of the operations.

  • Ensures adequate training and development of staff.

  • Ensures optimal way of working of the whole operations in line with the basic behavior of the quality house: “market-in, respect for people, and waste elimination”.

  • Performance Management: Resource management in Quality Dept are well managed.

- Ensure and support plant compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations:

  • Support and ensure managerial decisions to comply with EHS objectives and align with governmental regulations.

  • Ensure that technical and laboratory activities are complying the corporate and local environmental standard practices.

  • Ensure department activities are align with governmental regulations concerning EHS objectives.

  • Performance indicators: Technical and quality department's activities are aligned and comply with company and government regulation.
