Skills required
1. Qualifications:
Graduate / Post Graduate in Metallurgy Engineering (or Mechanical)
 
2. Experience:
At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with refractory on steel production plants
 
Good to have: Working experience in a steel plant continuous casting unit, in ‘operations’ department.
 
3. Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles of all Flow control products used in continuous casting.
Good understanding of concepts and principles of steel making [primary and secondary] and continuous casting.
Broad understanding of refractories for steel application

What you will do
Product Offering Strategy:
o Anticipate, analyse and understand the need of the customers for each application [technical, commercial] 
o Decide the products / solutions to offer based on the above, in consultation with FC M&T Manager Vietnam, FC Regional Product Managers and where ever applicable, AR M & T team.
o Prepare value-based proposals for customers and participate in the process of techno-commercial closure of the same to gain sustainable businesses.
 
Product performance management and technical service:
o Implement process and norms to monitor performance of all Company Flow Control products and AR products for the Steel Zone. Manage trials of all relevant products required to bring value to the customers. 
o Lead development and implementation of SOPs for all relevant applications. Ensure adherence through regular audits.
o Ensure that all product failures and customer complaints are captured through Company CCAR (Customer Corrective Action Request) system and ensure active contribution [technical analytical] for resolving those CCARs and submit professional reports to customers.
o Through Operations teams, ensure proper maintenance and up keeping of all equipment deployed by Company at the steel plants.
 
Team development and coordination:
o Building collaborative and high-performance on-site teams
o Ensure clarity of responsibility and accountability of each team members and encourage their performance through clear Objective Setting, honest appraisal and feedback and above all, daily personal communication.
o Ensure adherence to Company HSE responsibilities for self and each team member
