Skills required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that
was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
• Strong understanding of Scrum framework.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution,
continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Excellent English in both written, oral communication and mentoring skills.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, …).
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Job Description
• Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left
in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats,
handling bugs, etc).

What you will do
The primary focus of this position will be to closely collaborate with all the stakeholders of product
development - Product Owner (PO), Business Analyst (BA), Developer, Quality Assurance (QA),
Documentation Specialist in order to deliver product increment meeting the specified requirements of a
given product release by Agile approach.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Guiding the team and organization on how to use Scrum practices.
• Guiding the team on how to get the most of self-organizing team.
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to find the right solution for any issue occurred.
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame,
retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving.
• Facilitating to get the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
• Facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Assisting internal/ external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
• Supporting and coaching Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and maintaining the product
backlog.
• Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by
example.
• Setting and continually managing product expectations with scrum teams and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring that product releases are completed to design specifications and as per the “Definition of
Done”.
• Identifying managing and controlling the change control process both with internal and external
stakeholders.
• Risk, issues management and mitigation.
• Participating and helping drive continuous process improvements and adoption to ensure delivery of
extremely high quality software products.
