SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Manage end-to-end sales and / or leasing of forklifts; Appoint, develop, and Manage channel partners; Maintain inventory at desirable levels
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Reporting to Business Head / Country representative (as the structure evolves)
JOB DUTIES Information Management

Map demand potential of forklifts across Vietnam [start with South and progressively move North]

Periodic competition check on prices, new products, specifications Sales and Leasing Identify and engage with users and buyers of Forklifts

Prepare sales / contract pipeline and business reports
-
Solicit orders on phone / in person
-
Recommend changes in customer use to improve productivity

Draft quotations for individual and institutional customers

Demonstrate use of Forklifts at showrooms, dealers, customer sites Team / Relationship Management

Recruit / Manage a team of Field Officers for channel partner / end-user sales and leasing in key cities

Manage customer and channel partner relationships through team of sales / field officers Supply Chain / Order Placement

Initiate shipment for end-users and dealer transfers

Place orders with principal in India depending on stock positions

Maintain desirable levels of inventory at warehouse and channel partner locations
JOB REQUIREMENT

Thorough understanding of the Material Handling industry, its potential in Vietnam, and the usage pattern of end-customers

Good communication skills ~ Excellent spoken and written English

Result and deadline-oriented; persistent with a keen ability to follow-up on pipeline orders

Team building and management – treat all people with respect and dignity

Basic commercial knowledge of equipment sales and leasing

Extensive travel

Computer literacy a must, with a strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint (skills may be tested at the interview)
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Graduate / Bachelors degree in any stream with English as the formal language

5+ years of experience in Forklift sales / leasing in Vietnam
-
Showroom / dealer management experience will be an added advantage
