Skills required
  • University degree, chemical is preferably.

  • At least 2 years experience in chemical production.

  • Good English communication skills.

  • A practical “hands on” approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.

  • Able to work cooperatively within a small workgroup and develop constructive working relationships with operational personnel.

  • A strong commitment towards all aspects of safety.  Some experience with process safety and other aspects of HSE associated with manufacturing operations would be desirable. 

  • Desire to progress towards an operational role within the organization.

What you will do

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will report directly to Manager (Expat).

The person who hold this position will work as a Production Lead who will directly manage operator team at the factory and handle key tasks as below:

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day production line operations in accordance with plant principles and procedures. 
  • Responsible for scheduling shifts to ensure production targets are met. This includes: resourcing, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, grants work permits and back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations. 
  • Liaise with quality control to ensure products meet quality regulations and standards. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject products outside of specifications.
  • Ensure that personnel safety, process safety, safety culture and security practices are in accordance with principles and procedures, and maintenance rules.
  • Lead performance by engaging direct reports to value-based behavior and continuous improvement of their skills. Support and coach as part of everyday leadership.
