Skills required
  • Minimum education Master Degree/MBA.
  • 10+ years working experience in financial service or fund management industry.
  • Deep and broad knowledge of macro-economic, capital markets, equity research.
  • Knowledge of the Vietnam capital market landscape.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and strategic skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in dealing with senior management. level, investment team, and investment committees.
  • Passionate, hardworking, high teamwork spirit.
  • Strong analytical skills, including expertise in the modeling and analysis of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
What you will do

Report to the Chief Executive Officer

Lead and oversee research function, supervise the research staff and work closely with Investment and Business development officers as a partner in helping them achieve their investment and fundraising goals.

  • Monitor macro-economic trends, political and other relevant developments to produce timely reports/updates for business strategic planning, investment strategies of mutual funds under management and fund raising.
  • Search for deal/investment opportunities that help execute investment strategies of funds and assets under management.
  • Lead research team on macro, market and industry review to identify trends and investment themes for funds under management.
  • Lead research analysts to develop sector strategy reports, perform equity research including valuation models and assessment of risk-price balance and recommendations for investment opportunities and portfolio companies;
  • Build and nurture relationships with the management of portfolio companies and prospective companies.
  • Supervise the research team. Set individual employee goals and provide routine evaluations of progress toward these goals.  Identify and promote professional growth opportunities for staff. Ensure adherence to professional standards and ethics of prospect research.
  • Engage in public relations and marketing activities aimed at enhancing the Company’s standing;
  • Support Sales team in meeting with investors.
