What you will do

Project: Big Complex Building.

The Building Operations Manager will be responsible for daily operations of the mixed used commercial  building, supporting, directing, training and development of all personnel assigned, either directly or through others and planning towards a successful, professional and efficient management of all services provided to operate the property.

Purpose of the job:

  • Supervisory position with authority, responsibility, and accountability to plan, implement and monitor daily operations, quality service, tenant relations of the property, while utilizing management skills to train, motivate & empower the company’s associates to reach their goals and those of the company’s property.
  • Responsibility for weekly/monthly reports with additional responsibility to assist the Senior Executive with the coordination of day-to-day activities of the property, in accordance with the standards established by the company’s management. Assist in maintaining office clerical, filing and record keeping systems. Identify and strive to meet the tenant’s needs.
  • Interacts with effective communication with all associates.
  • Conducts weekly operations meeting in the absence of PM/Asst. PM.
  • Conducts safety talks with employees and contractors,
  • Compiles and collates key points from completed projects within 12 months and submit to Projects department to increase sharing and learning among colleagues.
  • Carries out SQ Survey for projects where selected and/or scheduled, and to achieve 90% satisfaction level from existing customers.
  • Maintains correct personal appearance and hygiene of all employees (operational and management) within the code of practice.
