- Prepare budget setting.
- Prepare monthly Master Plan planning.
- Prepare monthly Merchandising Report Review.
- Set department policy in line with company's policy.
- Evaluate and prepare staff performance appraisal and goal setting.
- Negotiate favorable Trading Term for the company.
- Elevate proper merchandising skills for the group (competitor and market survey on merchandises, assortment, pricing mix, layout display and promotion activities).
- To draft department and related activity Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- To assist company new store opening and renovation.
- Maintain gross profit on purchases and net profit on sales in line with business expectations.
- Maximize turnover by identifying best selling lines and emerging trend opportunities.
- Operates as a business manager proactively identifying ways to drive sales and profit, identifying risks.
- Analyze competitor activity/ prices and regularly up-date categories which are under self management of the same.
- Liaising with Shipping, Distribution Centers and Finance regarding pricing, bar-coding, product, cost and all information necessary to maintain profitable stock levels.
- Co-ordinates with IT for data control to ensure that accurate data admin standards are maintained.
- Support and develop team members, thus ensuring the skills base is at a level to drive the business.
- Encourage overall team development in order to create and manage and Company succession plan.
- Build effective working relationships with the sales team through on-going communication on a regular basis. |
