Description

 

General

-        Belonging to the company’s Management Board and contributing to the strategic positioning of the company and top-level decision-making.

-        Being responsible for the direction, control and coordination of all financial and IT related activities of the company (or his/her area of responsibility).

-        Developing and implementing plans, policies and procedures for providing the financial resources and IT systems to conduct and enhance the company’s business.

-        Leading, directing, and developing the heads of Finance, Controlling, IT, Supply Chain, Purchasing in the company (or his/her area of responsibility).

Finance

-        Being responsible for the definition of the company’s financial policy and its alignment with the Group’s current and long-term business objectives.

-        Managing the funding of operations his/her area of responsibility, operating cash flows and investments.

-        Developing and monitoring capital expenditure budgeting.

-        Performing commercial checks on investment requests and monitoring capital investments.

Accounting / Controlling

-        Being responsible for the evaluation and controlling of the company’s financial situation.

-        Overseeing the company’s closing processes and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.

-        Supervising the company’s Management Information Systems.

-        Reviewing and evaluating the performance of the company and of the divisions in his/her area of responsibility.

-        Ensuring compliance with IFRS / local GAAP accounting standards within his/her area of influence.

Treasury / Bank

-        Being responsible for safeguarding the company’s assets.

-        Negotiating all agreements with banks under the guidance of Regional Treasury and ensuring adherence to covenants thereof.

-        Ensuring the financing and liquidity of the company in accordance with the guidelines.

Tax

-        Ensuring tax compliance of all legal entities in his/her area of responsibility including all inter-company business relations.

-        Optimizing the company’s fiscal situation in alignment with legal requirements and the policies.

Compliance and Risk Management

-        Ensuring compliance with local and Group policies regarding his/her area of responsibility.

-        Liaising with Corporate Functions (esp. Accounting, Treasury, Taxes, Controlling, IT, internal Insurance Broker) in order to align local procedures with corporate directions and guidelines.

-        Implementing financial risk strategies.

BBM Reporting

-        Being responsible for the preparation of regional / divisional reports for his/her area of responsibility.

IT

-        Directing IT activities in his/her area of responsibility to maintain and continuously increase their business benefit in alignment with the policies.

Supply Chain Management

-        Ensure the alignment of Organization Priorities to the Supply Chain Strategies for Asia Pacific.

-        To be able to translate all Local, Regional and Global Strategies into action plans and execute successfully across division and functions.

-        Skillful in Project & Change Management

-        Design & operate Supply Chain Management to support the Business.

-        Ability to steer a Paradigm Shift ..Build logistics into an integrated Supply Chain Management.

-        Ensure that roles and jobs are formally structured to uphold the team work approach with common target on dynamic, innovation and continuous improvement.

-        Set optimal inventory levels through the value chain and ensure adherence.

-        Leveraging each others skills and ensure dealings with our business partners are carried out with integrity, cultivating a strategic alliance on a win-win basis.

-        Ensure each departmental goals are aligned and objectives met for better competitive edge.

-        Ensure commitment to the highest Customer Service levels and responsiveness to delivery needs at all times. Entrepreneurship is a must and set Key Performance Indicators primarily to increase Customer Service Level.

-        Operational Efficiency via visibility and transparency.  Key Performance Indicators are set and Measured accordingly. Benchmarking to keep up with the competitive edge.

-        Eliminate non-value activities. To shorten the internal lead time for cost optimization.

Requirement

 

-        Graduate with Master Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration and / or Professional degree with an Accountancy body that is recognized by MIA e.g. CIMA, CACA, CPA.

-        10 to 15 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in a multinational manufacturing company.

-        Thereof min. 3 years experience as Chief Financial Officer of a legal entity. 

-        Experience in regional / divisional reporting would be an added advantage.

-        Strong in accounting knowledge.

-        Exposure to Multi-National Industries and best of breed practices

-        Ability to organize and lead efficiently internal and external projects, ie: outsourcing and contact manufacturing with integrity and skillfully

-        Extensive experience with SAP R/3

-        Business-fluent English

-        Team player with good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

-        Driver of change

-        Willing to learn, self-driven and ambitious

-        Result-driven and assertive

-        Excellent leader

-        Good knowledge of Custom Regulation and Taxation

-        Able to spearhead and lead projects independently, speedily and result –oriented.
